About Grofers:

Having launched in December 2013, Grofers is now the 5th largest organized grocery retailer in India with operations in 16 cities. Grofers became the largest e-grocer in the country with an annualized GMV run-rate of $700mn on the back of its flagship event Grand Orange Bag Days in August 2019. The online grocer also runs the largest grocery membership program in the country called Smart Bachat Club and has over 1.2 million transacting users a month. Grofers is now foraying into the offline retail space through a partnership with neighbourhood Kirana stores which would allow the e-grocer to further disrupt the category and open a new source of growth with an omni-channel strategy.

Objective of the Role:

 We are looking for passionate, talented people to join newly created Offline Business Team. The incumbent will be responsible for the sales in a specific area and develop and implement strategies to deliver growth.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Identify business opportunities by generating retailer leads and converting them into Grofers branded stores
  • Maintain relationships with retailers by providing support, information and guidance
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Ability to work in teams and strives towards the shared goals

 Desired Skills & abilities: 

  • Experience range: Graduate/ Post Graduate with minimum 4 year of experience in FMCG/Retail industry
  • A keen sense of ownership, speedy execution and resourcefulness
  • Working knowledge of Excel is preferred
