Assistant Manager - Category (General Merchandise)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop deep and long-standing relationship with key distributors and local brands - to drive relationships 
  • Own the terms of business with the key distributors/local brands - product availability/ offer negotiation
  • Ensure high-share of mind from the key distributors/local brands. Build deep ties 
  • Drive key category objectives at the city level 


Market Understanding: 

  • Develop a good understanding/knowledge of the market
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of competition at city level


What we require:

  • Good negotiation skills 
  • Good working knowledge of Excel 
  • Must be willing to learn 
  • Ability to connect with people across teams & levels
